Cast BiographiesDevinee Brunner as Brook Ashton/Vicki
Devinee is 19 and a sophomore at
Pati Fitzgerald as Poppy Norton TaylorPati started to feel the “pull” of the theatre about the same time she decided to change the spelling of her name to “one t and an i”. That desire to be noticed was quenched by "my presence on stage, and I haven’t slowed down since." She did take short breaks in order to complete her college degree, to get married, and while her son was very young, but says, "Once theater gets in your blood, there’s no turning back." She has been in plays in Clearwater, FL as well as Janesville, Madison, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, and Watertown, WI. She started out with chorus parts, but has worked her way up to characters that actually have names. Favorite roles include Ayah in The Secret Garden, Maud Dunlop in The Music Man, Connie Moylan in Annie, and William the Horse in The Wind in the Willow. In real life, she works for the School
District of Jefferson as a Human Resources Secretary. She has a wonderful
husband, Michael, and a handsome son, Sean, who show their support of the arts
by putting up with her need to perform. Tom Kohls as Tim AllgoodThis is Tom's first show with FACT. Before moving to Fort Atkinson, Tom was an integral member of the Village Playhouse of Wauwatosa, and served on its board of directors for many seasons. He produced, directed, stage-managed, and acted in more shows than he can remember. Tom was cast in a large number of musicals in the Milwaukee and Port Washington area. His favorite role is Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls. Tom appeared also in a wide variety of comedic character roles, in plays such as Don't Drink the Water, Harvey, and Arsenic and Old Lace. Tom was also often seen on stage as "Guy Accidentally Knocking Over Set", or "Funny Guy In Chorus Who Can Not Remember The Dance Steps" . Working with Tom has been a life changing experience for at least one choreographer, who after working with him in the musical Anything Goes, decided that moving to San Francisco and selling shoes would be a safer, more peaceful way of life. Tom is currently a Production
Supervisor at McCain Foods in Fort Atkinson (yes, the place that makes Fort
smell like onion rings.) His daughter Guinevere will soon receive her Master's
Degree in History, and Tom's wife Donna Kay is a produced playwright. Bob Rammelt as Frederick Fellowes /Philip BrentBob is delighted to be back on
the Fort stage and is especially excited to have an opportunity to work with
Doug Reed. Every new show and new director brings new experiences and new
stories to pass on to his students at Waukesha North High School. His favorite
performances include the scarecrow in Wizard of Oz, Ross Gardner in Visiting
Mr. Green, and George Bailey from It's a Wonderful Life. Bob would like to
thank his lovely wife Lisa for all of her support through another production.
Deb Riddell as Belinda/FlaviaThis is Deb’s third production with FACT, the other two being Rebecca in Our Town and Chavala in Fiddler on the Roof. Her previous undertakings have been various high school musicals and dramas, CPA productions of Follies in Concert and Robber Bridegroom, Act I productions of Under Milkwood, Spoon River Anthology and Don Juan in Hell. She also performed in a local dinner theatre production called Murder at the Tomorrow’s Hope Board Meeting, which was a fundraiser for the organization. All of these experiences have allowed her to expand her horizons in theater. In her “other life” she works in
the Trust Department at PremierBank in Fort Atkinson. Deb spends what extra time
is available at sporting events for the Fort High School where her husband,
Lance, is a teacher and coach, at the ball park watching him and their sons,
Chad and Greg, or on the golf course working out her frustrations. Ron Scott as Garry Lejeune/Roger TramplemainRon lives in Janesville and works in Fort Atkinson as an accountant at Nasco. Previous productions include A Christmas Carol 1998, 1776 and Follies 1999, Robber Bridegroom, Under Milkwood, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Spoon River Anthology in 2000, The Boys Next Door in 2001, As the Southern Bell Tolls, 2002, and Murder Mystery Theatre, 2003. Ron thanks everyone
involved in Noises Off for their commitment to having fun and working together,
with a special thank you to Doug. "Your friendship, sense
of humor and directing abilities have made this truly enjoyable once again." Ron
also thanks his wife, Barbara, "for your unending honesty, love, support and for always being able
to make me smile and laugh. Thank you Lord, Jesus, for this and all blessings
and opportunities." Steve Secaur as Selson MowbrayTen years ago, Steve's wife talked him into getting involved in community theatre when they lived in Baraboo, WI. He found that he got hooked easily, and came to love the sense of community that is built among the actors, director, and crew on every show. Theatre has become their primary avocation since then. Former roles include Black Stevedore in Showboat, a farmer in Rimers of Eldritch, Philanderer in Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, a clergyman in Anything Goes and Arsenic and Old Lace, a rich landowner in Robber Bridegroom, El Commandatore in Don Juan in Hell, and a junior in Twelve Angry Men. The stress of his work as an Episcopal priest is greatly lessened when he is able to participate in a play of any sort. Fortunately, the congregations he has served have been supportive of his efforts to be involved in community theatre, and that is a blessing to him. Noises Off is one of his very favorite plays, and
he believes it is
probably the funniest show written in the English language to date. "I look
forward to playing the doddering Selson Mowbray veteran of the stage who has
developed a craving for strong dry and wry wisecracks." Dave Tuten as Lloyd DallasDave is no stranger to the stage. He has performed with many groups throughout his acting career; including Wisconsin Players, Madison Savoyards, Stroller’s Theatre, CPA, University of Whitewater, Act I and FACT. His major roles included Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Fred Gayly in Here’s Love, John Hancock in 1776, Alan Swan in My Favorite Year, Psudeolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Norman in The Boys Next Door, Pa Joad in Grapes of Wrath, and the Wizard in Wizard of Oz. Dave teaches 8th grade at
Whitewater Middle School. He enjoys softball and golf.
He wants it known that he has never performed on stage with Lee Meredith or even
her second cousin. Where do rumors start? Susan Shoemaker as Dotty Otley / Mrs. ClackettWhen not opening sardines, Susan spends most of her time looking for her car keys. She is a former air traffic controller and flight instructor who is now an aspiring writer (published in Happy Woman and Opium magazines) and occasional actor.
Susan’s previous roles include performing Shakespeare as Mae West. She most
recently appeared at the Stoughton Opera House in the world premiere of The
Sago of Sergeant Bates as a wickedly flirtatious southern belle. Delighted to
participate in this show (although her costume isn’t nearly as attractive), she
hopes the audience enjoys the play as much as she does. |
