Close your eyes and go back in time to the 1940's as FACT
presents the radio drama Dracula. This is a classic telling of the tale
about the evil count from Transylvania. The stage will be set as an old time
radio station. Characters will be delivering their lines at the microphone as if
it were a live radio broadcast. Sound effects will be done on-stage by the
"sound technician." Parents should be aware that this telling of Dracula could
be scary for younger children.
There will be a special preview performance of Dracula on
Halloween night, Tuesday October 31, 2006. Admission for the preview night is
two items for the Fort Atkinson Food Pantry or a $5 donation to the Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is especially in
need of jelly and baked beans and can always use soup, cereal, bottled juice and
other non-perishable items.
Tickets for the performances on Thursday November 2nd, Friday
November 3rd and Saturday November 4th are $5. Tickets are available in advance
at Humphrey Floral and Gifts in downtown Fort Atkinson. Remember that this
performance is at Luther Elementary School, 205 Park Street in Fort Atkinson,
For additional information please contact the director, Eric
